This past week I had the great opportunity to travel all around the state of California with my family for my little sister’s graduation trip. I had been out to Los Angeles when Auburn played in the National Championship in Pasadena but did not get the chance to really adventure around the city.
We had a lot of sightseeing and walking packed into the seven days we were on the west coast starting with a great few days in San Francisco.

The first week of an internship is such an exciting time, from your first day to meeting all your co-workers.

We were on the Royal Caribbean Majesty of the Seas cruise ship that went out of Miami.
First, we had to get from Auburn, Alabama to Miami, Florida.
I’m back in one of my favorite cities, D.C. to experience March for Life for the third time.
This historical city is one of my favorite cities to photograph, so my camera was put to good use this trip.
We walked about 25 miles in three days and became pros at The Metro.

It’s the last day of 2014, so now it’s time to reminisce on a great year and give thanks for the many blessings I was given this past year!
I’m thankful for family, friends, FLP, football, music and adventure.
It’s that time of year, college kids are home for an entire month to enjoy time with family and relax after the stress of finals week.
This break has been exactly what I needed: food, family and more food.
